thanks Marcel ..... here's what happened ..... i kept hoping she ( Fred turned out to be Fredreeka ) would make it ....... she had made it for awhile by the time i caught her and took care of her .....so i thought it was possible , but still, i wanted a vet to check her and gimme the verdict ..... during the little bit of time i fell for her and i never had a cat b4 ..... a coupla nights were real cold , so i went out to the rabbit hutch she was in and put in a warm towel straight from the dryer to give her some warmth in the middle of the night ....
there is a shelter here in delightful Pennsauken , NJ called the almost home shelter .... my daughter Kelly used to volunteer there , and we adopted a mutt dog from them Mad Mardigan (Mardi for short) .... so they know us .... they are no kill , unless a vet says the animal is in too much pain ( not for reasons of running out of space) .... these people are so nice , it's off the chart ..... i made all these arrangements to borrow a crate and do all these things , thinking i have to take away people's excuses and...... they cheerfully came out immediately , in a driving downpour , and got her , the vet checked her , immediately , and the report was much worse than i would have guessed .......

in what is supposed to be the richest country .... how is it possible for people and animals to be out on the street with no home ???

Hurts like hell loosing a pet, and reason I dont dare pick up a new one.. Lost a few cats (cat person myself), and broke my heart into pieces each time... specially when one crawled into my arms half way dead from a car crash, and died in my arms.. like it only wanted to get home one last time before dying...
my feelings goes out to Kelly .. for her sake, get a new great pet..

Teary .... thanks so much for the Marvin Gaye link in the real rnb thread .... it's one of the coolest things i ever saw and heard ......plus happening today ..... well , it helped ........
