Topic: Can't put music Files in Alphabetical Order

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

I want to put all my files in alphabetical order with in VDJ, After altering a few file names, they are all over the place.

I've tried to use the Autosort in the regedit. I think the value is number 2 ( got it from Norway), like I did with my Home version files (3.4.1) it worked.

But in VDJ 5 it doesn't seem to work, I'm I doing something wrong.

SORTING – [Registry: SortOrderDefault] –"AutoSort" has been removed and replaced with “SortOrderDefault” in the registry. SortOrderDefault provides a ‘default’ type setting that VirtualDJ will use to sort browsed folders or search result before a column sort changes the sort order. A value of SortOrderDefault=1 sorts on the "smart" icon column which provides organization of the files typically found in past versions – common played songs at top, already played songs at the bottom, and everything else in-between. The following column order represents the sequential values 2-19 – Title, Artist, Album, Genre, Bpm, Key, Length, Bitrate, Year, Comment, Play Count, First Seen, First Play, Last Play, Drive, Filepath, Filename, Filetype ** If you reorder columns in the browser it will not change the meaning of the numbers in the registry

SORTING – [Registry: SortOrderForce] – Force the order to be set again to a specific column each time you change folder. (0 means keep previous, 1 is smart, etc...) ** The same values for SortOrderDefault are used here in representing the various columns

Right cstoll, I sort of get it.

I've noticed that the tracks I play the most are at the top of the column.

How do I force the change back to what I like. Forgive me if it sounds silly.

Change each of the registry entries to a value of which ever entry you want the browser to always default sort by. So if always by Filename then us 18 in both registry entries.

2- Title
3- Artist
4- Album
5- Genre
6- Bpm
7- Key
8- Length
9- Bitrate
10- Year
11- Comment
12- Play Count
13- First Seen
14- First Play
15- Last Play
16- Drive
17- Filepath
18- Filename
19- Filetype

OK get it.

Where do I find the place to change the entries
