If you already have the Denon HC4500, you should hang on to it. Native support should be improved with updates to VDJ and even if it's not, there will be a custom mapper plugin available for it soon (I will be writing one once I can get hold of a HC4500 - They're not available in the UK yet.)
However, the DMC-2 already has good native support in VDJ and also has a custom mapper from myself that enhances its capabilities.
