Topic: Multi Instance Skin & Tutorial

I was looking for a Multi-instance skin, but only see 1 by DJCell and it says it's for the home user version. I'nm a 5.0 professional user. Is there a multi-instance skin or can someone make one?
Is there a tutorial for how to use a mullti instance skin so that I can control and mix 4 decks at once? From the little info. I was able to find, it sounds like I need a second controller that is different from my current one, and a second soundcard. I detailed, step by step explaination would be appreciated.

it means level home edition and above you can download it, also if you repost this in pluggin forum you may get a quicker response...hope it helps

Also look at the MixLab skins there is a Multi-instance skin there.
 
I posted a request for a tutorial on multi instance in both plug-ins and skins forums. No replys so far.
Cstoll, maybe you've played around with this topic. I downloaded Vmix multi instance skin today and in the config, Network tab I have the multi instance box check. I get 2 VDJ's up and have all 4 decks loaded with video's, but also get 2 seperate main video mix windows instead of just one. How do I get just one input and how do I select each deck when I want to send it's output to the main video out window?

I looked in the Mix lab skin variations, but didn't see a multi instance version. Were you talking about the VMix?

Yeah I was thinking of the Vmix skins.

OK, here is the problem with video and multi-instance skin OR individual multiple instances -- only one instance can have control of the second output of the video adapter. Yes, currently in the video area VirtualDJ can not provide beyond the 1 instance 2 decks for video. To run multiple decks would require multiple systems.

Now what I have not tried (mainly because I don't have the hardware) is if I had 2 multi-output video cards could I send each instance to a different video cards output. That would however introduce the need for an external video mixer to crossover the two video signals when going between the instances.
 
That would be sweet if it would work in SLI. Man think about it 4 video decks, add midi to it to control all 4, but send it out to 2 different cards. You understand what I am sayin??? 2 cards, 4 decks, 1 control!
 
VERY VERY BUMMED OUT RIGHT NOW! I was so excited about the creative video possibilities. My dream is squashed for now. If the developement team could make this dream a reality, it would set VDJ light years ahead of PCDJ and all the rest until they copied it. Cstoll,if you or DJINNORWay have the developers ears, can you pitch this idea to them?
