Topic: Upgrading VDJ versions

I am currently running. 4.3 and want to get up to speed and have 5rev4.
Do I just download 5rev4 and install or do i need to download and install all the others aswell? Because the posts I have been reading seem to be a lil more complicated.
I am not the most computer technical person in the world. I just want to have the latest version of VDJ running. But am sightly confused reading posts about installing this file there and renaming it something and my head is a little muddled. So an idiots guide to upgrading from 4.3 to 5rev4 with as little hassle as possible would be much appreciated! :)

Just download and install Rev4 - it will do the upgrade.

The renaming of the file is only if you wish to keep a copy of 4.3 readily available to use
 
Although opinions vary on the issue of keeping a copy of 4.3, especially if you gig with your rig, I have personally followed the upgrade path directly. I have found that none of the bugs thus far have been enough (in my case, at least) to cripple a performance, and I'm hearing very good things about the rev4 edition...Just haven't tested it myself yet because I'm busy looking over the forums, hehehe =D
 
Nothing on the Web site tell me about the new version?! Is this a bug? Thank goodness I am obsessed with the forums now. haha. In addition, Atomix Productions refuses to set up a newsletter after I asked through the support system.
