I made this for myself as a handout to carry with me without having to open any applications while DJing, but I think other people can benefit from it. I fixed some typos, grammar and the layout of the original documentation. If anything is wrong in it I will be happy to change it. It took longer than expected to do (3 hours) so I hope someone other than me can benefit from it.

The BCD2000 Mapper 2.1 by is for the Behringer BCD2000 to have more functions and have extra options such as changing sensitivity of the jog wheels in VirtualDJ. It can be found in the "Plugins" section of the VirtualDJ Web site. Highly recommended to give it a try at least if you own a BCD2000!

I think it is important that I credit DJ Max Mora (moramax) for the dedication to the mapper and documentation. It looks like I forgot to include his name after the word "by" in my previous post since I was not sure of the spelling of the name.
 
I fixed a little bit of spelling errors, but most importantly I made the table clearer by adding some simple graphics to the table. I noticed that I was getting lost while checking the table to see what each key does.

I see that some people (11) downloaded the old one. Like it? Make sure to grab the new one, I already deleted the old one. I think the table of keys is more organized now and easier to look at a quick glance.

Here it is, sorry about that. I could not post for the fourth time to update the link. I had to wait for someone to post.

I updated it yet again, since moramax (developer of BCD2000 Mapper 2.1) was going to take a look at it! Third version. More typos, grammar, spelling and organization fixed and improved. Enjoy!

I now happily use the BCD2000 in my current setup, but I do not use the internal BCD2000 ASIO sound card. There is more information on what I did to avoid the issues with the BCD2000 ASIO drivers (http://www.virtualdj.com/forums/77958/PC_Version_Technical_Support/Hyper-Threading_Issues_.html).
 
great! I really like this mapper, the only problem is that you can ony use one parameter on the bcd to control effects. Can this be changed so you can change at least two?

Just out of curiosity, did anyone ever try the www.asio4all.com drivers with BCD2000? The asio4all drivers works great with LOTS of soundcards

Yeah I did Norway......crash...three different PCs. The midi as we all know is fine. Its that bad sound card no help for it. A tad disappointing, but I moved one months ago.

I tried it after what you said in the other thread. It did not work for me. I could not use it in my sound card setup where I use two sound cards. No crashing for me though. The option for the ASIO4ALL driver does not show up in the combo boxes on the Settings window as a second card. VirtualDJ bug? I am fine with the setup I mentioned earlier, but it would be nice to at least use the headphones port on the BCD2000.

I do not think it is possible, but options to tweak the BCD2000 2.1 Mapper would be great. I do miss controlling parameter 2 for the effects as well though. Make the effect knobs control parameters 1 and 2 of deck 1 and hold down the ANALOG INPUT A button to control deck 2? Since both parameters are necessary at the same time. Especially for effects like "Flanger".
 
following the request of many users i've done a little upgrade to drive two parameters.
It will be available at soon...

the new BCD2000 mapper 3.0 update is available:

-added sampler mode
-changed key for samples and effects to respect default skin sequence
-updated automix function to be compatible with virtualdj 5.0 rev.4
-pitch function now is better
-added “hot cue 1, 2, 3”
-added “jogs disabled” feature
and others(see the manual for more details)

Attention: it's compatible starting from Virtual 5.0 rev4

Thanks! I am loving the new features! I might have to update my reference document for the new version when I finish playing with the new features and getting used to it. :)
