Topic: How do I make Dac 3 Mapper work?

I have downloaded the zip file for the Dac 3 mapper. Now how do I get it to work with the dac 3?

You need to put dac3.dll in your Plugins\ControlDevices folder - on v4 this is in the Program Files\VirtualDJ, and on v5 is in your Documents\VirtualDJ. You'll also need to enable the DAC-3 option in the VDJ setup as well IIRC...
 
I put just the dac3.dll file in the Plugins/ Control device Folder. I have V5 and i don t see a Documents/ Virtual DJ folder. i have enabled the Dac 3 and it is not making any changes.

i also just downloaded the Dad 3 mapper and installed it .
I don't like the player starting when i press the match button , how do i get in the user parameters and tweak it to my liking ?
 
Read the dac3mapper.txt file that was part of the install for what is configurable and what is not...

i have read it and it seems that option is not selectable , is this the case ? apart from that it is a great improvement from the default settings.
 
This feature has been requested previously and is on the list of updates. I started work on a v1.5 update some time back, but little has been done on this due to lack of time and other projects (Writing the Numark DMC-2 mapper and the recent v1.1 update to this for VDJ v5.0)

I'll try to get this update finished off at some point now that DMC-2 v1.1 has been released.
