Version 5 seems to by analysing my tracks about half the speed of the previous version. Is there any reason for this?

You may be analysing your tracks using the "Any Music" method, this does take longer to analyse tracks than using the "Techno / House" method.
This can either be in your configuration settings, or when you right click > and analyse all tracks.
Check these options too see if they make any difference.

Thanks for the response. I'm actually using the techno setting. It used to scan them so quickly, but now its taking about 30 seconds each track. Before it was taking about 1 or 2 seconds a track.

I don't know, but could it be to do with reading the id3 tags and putting them in the db, or maybe finding album artwork off the net while it's doing it?
