Topic: Recurse turning off in V5?

This could just be me, but since installing 5.0, recurse keeps turning it's self off. Most annoying for those of us that leave it on for their entire set.

Am I missing something?

No, it is this way now by design, for safety and performance reasons.
Recurse forces the selected folder to sort whatever amount of files are in it.
So retain it always on could have some unwanted effects in big folders and databases,
especially now with the added tag fields.

Here is the new behavior:
- It deselect itself when another folder is selected.
- A new shortcut is added to quickly enable it only when needed.
- If you want a specific folder always recursed, ...just create a Filter folder to contain the songs from this particular folder.
(syntax: filepath contain..... or filepath starts with....)
 
Ahhh Ok, thamks for that, is the shortcut something we have to create or is it built in? (Or in other words what is it?)
 
You need to build it.
