Along with DJ/VJ/KJ, I do a sports show before some football games in a sports lounge. I play funny videos and commercials during the show. Sometimes I like to go to the next video instantly....don't want to wait till the end. Since you've changed the roll of the 'Automix' button, there's no way to do that. I've tried using the 'Automix' function, using one deck, then double clicking on the next video I want to play, but it's not instantaneous, it takes at least 3 seconds, even though I have the 'auto-cross-fade length' set to 0 s. It would be nice to be able to change to the next video, completely, instantaneously with a cut. Or am I missing something??

If you tick the "Force-fade" it will be intantaneous ;)

Use the action auto_crossfade().
The length of the auto crossfade is determined by the slider in the Options tab in CONFIG window of VDJ.
Just set a shortcut to do auto_crossfade. Or you can make a button on the skin if you prefer.
