I am going to DJ an event tomorrow...
Should I get a windows laptop and run v5.0 with the BCD3000, or stick with v4.3 mac with the BCD3000?
Is it natively supported in the new version?
If it is, what do I do to setup the sound? (with XLR mic)

my BCD2000 seems to work fine with both 4.3 & v5. I have not had an issue with my BCD2000 yet had it for 12 months now i dont use Asio drivers just the default BCD setup for VDJ and then just adjust the latency tweaks.
So under this assumption i would say yes it should work.. (but dont hold that as gospel) :-)
I believe alot of the external controllers issues ie: BCD 2 & 3 and the other brands are hardware compatible related users setups and u just have to fine tune the laptop or pc with minimal requirements.
