Also, database icon has gone, do we now have to create our own monitored folders as a replacement for this?

there is no need for a database icon anymore. Search is global wherever you are.
If you want to list all your database files, just type * in the search box.

i think we're gonna need one ....... i don't mean that for any negative reason ......just even the old skins and etc seem different awful lots of cool new stuff .......
