When I record a mix the sound made by my cue button is also being recorded in mp3. Arn't the cue sounds meant to be silent in the actual recording? Like when you cue with your headphones in an old school turntable/mixer setup. Is there an option I can't see to do this? Thx.

I've answered my own question. I need to use headphones and the crossfader, the cue is not silent and plays as if it were live. I set it up with the two outputs from my soundcard but you could use the left/right speaker config.
