Topic: hercules mk2 as a mixer

can I use two turntables and the hercules mk2 as a ?mixer
or I have to have an analog mixer as well?
(for scratching...)

Yes you can, but for scratching you will need good battle external mixer.
 
you would need virtual dj pro to use external mixer mode

whay would I need an external mixer?
for the crossfader curves?
'cause I can set the curves on the software...
 
You are going to knock those jogwheels all over the place, pinch your thumb, and maybe break the fader off. At least that was my experience with it. I gave up pretty quickly on the fader and locked it at center. Make sure you have superglue handy : )

For quality and endurance, MK2 is not built for heavy scratching.
 
thax to all of you dj's for the advices
now I can know how much I need to spend on all of the gear
I thought I could wait with the mixer but now I can see I can't
at least not for too long...

just one thing:
if my virsion have the option of time coded vinyl
I shouldn't have problem with that would I?
