Hello, I've got a quick question that I need assistance with.

In my backup setup which also has VDJ loaded, the database deletes itself every time I close the program. Next time I open it up, I have to scan my HD again. Why is it doing this?

That's very strange, never seen VDJ does this. What version do you use? Write your PC specs.
 
It's version 4.2 still.
Toshiba (Satellite P25-S477) laptop with 2.40 GHz Pentium 4, 1GB RAM, 120 GB hard drive
 
Are you using XP or Vista on that machine?
 
Nope, it's got XP
 
I suggest only fresh install of XP and VDJ 4.3 and try it then. It is weird for sure.
 
It has happened to me at random times, a nother bug needs to be fixed. Happens on multiple laptops. No longer a system problem. A VDJ problem.
 
pardon moi but how can it be a VDJ problem when its not happening to everyone running VDJ? Please explain.
 
Please, try reinstall of your OS, might solve the problem.
