Topic: I've got my new BCD3000.

由于该帖子已年深日久,可能包含陈旧过时或描述错误的信息。

OK. now what?
The BCD2000 is supported in 4.3 but the BCD3000 is not.
I set about mapping the key and this worked fine but I cannot work out how to map the LED's on the BCD3000.

Is it even possible?

Any help would be greatly appretiated.

Where did you purchase the BCD3000. I don't know of anyone sell them yet.

I don't think LEDS work in bcd3000 using the midi, they will work only when the console has native support cause chipset is different from bcd2000, regards.

Here we go, all over again, the same as when BCD 2000 came out. I am so glad I didn't bought it ;)
Manquin is right, native support is needed for led's. You can use Self learning Midi shortcuts to map buttons as it is Midi Controller.

Thanks for the info.
I've been reading up and it could be possible to write my own .dll
Can any one point me in the right direction?

I know a dll was writen for the BCD2000, is it possible to get the source code from any one,
and modify to suit the BCD3000?
Only other option is to take it back and get something that works.
Here's hoping.

Just out of curiosity - Why didn't you consider the numark Total control? It's the same thing only minus a soundcard.

The price is about the same as well.

behringer has a real nasty rep - I also had a bcd2000 and took it back.

I think you can do better for controllers than a BCD x000.

DAC3
DAC2
Total control
DMC2
VEestax vci-100
M-Audio Xponent

All would be better I think.

The dll writing looks out of my league. Is any one thinking about righting one?
will start a new post with this.

I just want to know does the sound card work or is there problems as with the BCD 2000.

To get the LED's to work do you need to go to the BCD3000's controll pannel and change it to "Advanced Mode"?

As said above, to make the LEDs work, it needs a native mapper. Currently it can't be made in VirtualDJ v4.3

Hi Lightningyoung,

Now you're having your BCD3000 working. Could you please share us the settings which you've used. In this case your sound setup (for the headphones), Performances and could you please share you're saved configuration for the midi controller?

Thanks in advance, it will be a great help for us!

Regard,

Bas

for best results for normal use in virtual dj you should set the console to "basic mode " in the 3000 control pannel

Thanks for your respond. My question was more about the settings in Virtual DJ.

Regards,

Maybe it's possible to make something like a guide to make the bcd3000 work with Virtual DJ. Of course a mapper is ideal, but I think it's a great solutions for all bcd3000 owners in the meantime...

try the following settings

on performances

latency Auto
Fastest

untick safe mode
and overclock

on the console software set it to basic mode

for headphones

intputs : none
outputs : headphones
card : 4.1
driver : bcd3000

1/2 main 3/4 headphones

as to mapping :

hope that gets you on your feet :)
