Topic: DMC2 connections

I am looking at numark site and the connections on the back look weird to me.

I guess it is because I use to just hooking up everything to a mixer.

How do you connect this controller?

not that i have seen it, but i quess its usb.
 
Yeah, the DMC2 got USB only. You need to connect your mixer to your soundcard(internal or external) to make it work.
 
k_one is completely correct. To explain a little: The Dmc2 is a controller only, it does not contain a soundcard like the Hercules DJ console.
So you will need a pc, Dmc2 and a sound card with multiple outputs. You connect the soundcard as you would do without the Dmc2 and then connect the Dmc2 to a free usb port and switch it on in the VDJ config panel.

and dont forget about jpboggis mapper. one other thing that the dmc has that i was suprized about it has a clamp to hold the wire from the power supply in the back so u dont have to worry about it coming out at the worst times.
 
Does the DMC2 works with USB only or need the power supply also?
 
It needs its own power supply.
