Almost ready to buy virtual vinyl but I have one quick question about the auto gain feature. I hate to bring up serato again, but with serato, when I analyzed my tracks (they call it building overviews) I could have the program automatically adjust the gains to match whatever db I prefered (I usually went up to 94db) Then, if I loaded a track and the gain wasn't exactly where I wanted it, I would just fine tune it and then the gain position would be saved so that next time I loaded the track the gain is perfect and I don't have to mess with ever again.
So far I've just been messin around with vdj/cue, but it seems that the only option when analyzing tracks is to measure bpm, no autogain. Now if I were using mp3s this wouldn't be an issue because I have mp3 gain. However, I'm djing videos. Also I'm using an external mixer and turntables so I don't want to mess with the gain first in the program then on the ex. mixer every time I load a song.
I know there are two options in the config menu, always go to 0db and always match. Those are both ok but I would like to fine tune my gains then have them saved. Anyway, if these are the only two options, which one are you guys using.

I am using Always 0dB and it is working fine, but sometimes it gains more than 0dB so you must be careful. I use external mixer so I can see if it is gained more and you can see the same on VDJ peak levels. The team is aware of this problem and it will be fixed.
I like your idea to set it and forget it, that should be possible in VDJ.

Hi, yeah, always 0dB works well for me. It's more of a starting point though, it is always roughly right, but I normally tweak the gain on the mixer a little just to get it perfect.

I too use Always 0db and to me seems close. I also use an external mixer and tweak per song, but it is usually close.
