1) The manual shows a headphone and a cue/mix volume slider on top of the skin but none exists on the default skin that comes with 4.3, how do i adjust the cue/headphone volume within VDJ? Does the DAC-3 custom mapper have a way of controlling it?
2) The downloadable video and audio effects plugin pages state: "You can download additional effects to replace the default three effects available” What default three effects are they talking about? There's no reference to which ones are the defaults in the manual?
3) Why do I get an error message when I try to load any of my "Promo Only" ambient videos in the VDJ players? Is it because there's no audio? Is there another way to use them? They are all saved as vobs.
4) Is there a way to change the font sizes in the music folders/browser/playlist areas?
5) Why don't the comments I wrote in my ID3 tags show up in the browser window comment area?
6) Any idea when "adding songs to Virtual Folders crashing problem" is going to be solved?
Observations:
1) Since most Karaoke files are file named with two separators like (artist - title - ID) wouldn't it make more sense if Virtual DJ could separate the third area of a file name as opposed to just adding it to the end of the title?
2) I gig with 1.5 terabyte of music/karaoke and video and I don't use zip files with Karaoke because I like to be able to use my ID3 tags, which aren't accessible from within a zip file. Wouldn't it make more sense to hide the cgds from VDJ and automatically load them when a matching mp3 is loaded... like most other programs do? It's rather cumbersome to have to look at twice as many results all the time.
All in all...
So far I like VDJ but there's so much to learn, list and problem solve before I can chance using VDJ and my new laptop at a live gig and replace my other system.
