PROBLEM SOLVED!
Go to control panel then disable everything under sound and video controllers! Then plugin the hercules. worked fine after that! the sound cards were colliding giving me a direct x error!! The internal soundcard wasn't shutting down while plugging in the hercules...so i take it that it was trying to use all 3.
No problems after that! Works awesome!

it sounds like you had a irq conflict
a different situation to the previous issues which where casued by people not being loged into administrators

you know what? then how come nobody ever said anything about that? other than i wasnt logged in as admin? i was searching for a problem that didnt even existed cause of you lol
i'm not mad just frustrated...............how come you didn't know that?? a simple tech from comp usa knew it ..........i just told him my problem in under a minute...?? i don't get it...... sigh..............................................i thought you guys were to know your stuff.........

as no one here can actualy see your machine , they have to follow a logical step of things to try
not being loged in as an admin screws the installer which may have lead to the conflict
and usualy solves most peoples issues.
