WOW! Now that's one hell of a turntables there :)
Why do you wanna connect them to VDJ BTW? I see no reason except for recording which you can do with any software like Sound Forge or Nero Wave Editor.

Basically i like having tunes playing on the computer while I'm playing games i used to run them through the line in on the sound card on my computer so i was looking to do same sort of thing.

Just select MK2 as recording device in Device Manager and you should be able to hear it with no problem. You do not have to use VDJ.

Sorry mate i don't quite understand what you mean? at the moment if i want to have the sound form the ps3 or 360 i just press the audio source button on the console but when i do that the sound is distorting.

Hm, strange. Go to Control Panel>Sounds and select MK2 to be your main recording device, don't load up VDJ.

Ok had a look and its already set as my default recording device.

What OS do you use, XP or Vista? Try to reinstall drivers if you can.

Xp, ok I'll try that.

Hey man sorry about the delay but I've been trying to get the latest drivers off the site but the link seems to be down any idea where i can get them?

Yah , the link is having difficulity i think.. any idea how i want to go to hercules support..??

the inputs on the back of a hercules console cannot handle a lot of pro-grade equipment because it outputs at a higher gain than what the hercules is built for.

if my memory serves correctly, i think the inputs are -10dbv and most things (assuming xbox will fall in this category) output at +4dbv.... so it's just overwhelming to the console and that's why its all mucky sound in the bassy parts
