oi oi people, new to this site been usin virtual dj for a year or so on n off, but seems drum n bass is really difficult to mix with it is there any versions which add drum n bass to it instead of it enterpreting drum n bass as trance (thats how it seems to me), sayin that i am only just really trying with it since my decks are packed away i only just learnt that i could make the jog wheels on the console actual jog wheels not scratching pads haha

I have found that MixMeister’s free BPM analyzer works great at finding DnB BPM’s. However, a lot of the time MixMeister calculates the BPM at half the actual tempo. In other words, MixMeister may calculate 85 BPM on a particular track when the actual tempo is 170. I can put 85 BPM into VDJ manually and then press the x2 button to make the correction. Another solution would be to beatmatch by ear. Hope that helps.
