Topic: Video transition only does the fade transition

I have been setting the video transition to default or any other for that matter, and all it ever does is fade in from one to the other. The audio portion is fine, but the video fades, and is really boring when I am trying to show it off.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

In order to use the video transitions and effects, the option "use hardware acceleration" has to be activated
