Topic: Having problems with the Hercules MK2 and Vista

hello all.

when I run on vista my 3.4 bla bla edition it runs good everything works as it shout work.

i have the new driver and the update

so no problems there.

only i'm thinking of buying the pro version of VDJ. so i downloaded the trail.

on xp no problems.

on vista the hell breaks open.

i'm not getting sound out of the headphone. and when i have sound of the headphone my speakrs are silent.

and i'm not getting only deck or deck b
and when i put the crossfader to the other side i will stiil hear 2 songs.

my specs

C2D E6700
creative X-Fi elite pro
hercules DJ Console
Vista Home Premium
the latest driver of the dj console

PLEASE HELP

yea man, i got the same problem... i really dont understand!!!!!!
 
with the pro demo

you must choose

inputs: none
output : headphones
card: mk2
channels 1/2 main 3/4 headphones.

 
i have done that

i have called hercules about the problem and they are going to test somethings on vista.

when someone knows enything i will like to hear it

i will put the answer from hercules here on the forum.

i had an answer from hercules.



these are the settings that work.

now only you need to do is connecting the mk2 output to you speakers with the suplied cable or something.

ok i did that and i get directx sound driver error..........? can u help? please?
 
 
that really isnt nessary

all you need to do is uninstall , of the console and vdj

go to control pannel

go to users

then add your self as an admin as it states in the manual


then reboot and reinstall

by default all acounts are just child users in vista you need

to manualy upgrade them to your desired level

you must be an admin to install it properly
