Topic: DAC2 - why isn't my green like on?

DAC2 - why isn't my green like on? in the remote tab. i think the controller will not work fully until the green like come on. my bend buttons are not working as well.

Download The drivers from here:

Unzip the files to a folder.

When you plug the USB cable into the dac and the Found new hardware window comes up, use the wizard and install the drivers by using the advanced install and chosing the folder where you unzipped the folders.

Then resart the comp - and open VDJ select DAC 2 in remote TAB and select auto-detect.

Close and restart VDJ.

The DAC 2 Default settings suck donkey shlong.

Download a mapper either the one written by PERN or CSTOLL.

Then read the readme files and away you go.
 
What if I already have a fully working DAC2... of course when I'm using PCDJ FX. Should I still redownload it and install it?
 
Try a mapper then - the buttons should work then.
 
Can I use PCDJ FX and Virtual DJ on one machine using same DAC2 controller? I will not be using both at tha same time.

Yes, which program are you mainly going to use. if it's vdj then activate the controller first in vdj.
im new to vdj and im using vdj first, channel 1 & 2. if i have any problems i switch to pcdjfx on channel 3 & 4. then go to my config and test the controller.

how do i get into browse mode with a dac2
 
Depends on which mapper you downloaded.

With cstoll's (I use that one) You press SHIT while turning the inner jog dial.

This will put the player's jog dail into browse mode.

Also - check out the readme file with the mapper it'll tell you to enable browse mode in the external tools tab under EFFECTS.

which soundcard you use to run both the programs? isn't there a driver conflict?

i use a gigaport sound card. remember that i can only use the controller for on program at a time
