What are the specs for your machine? What version are you using? Is it a demo or a cracked version? What format are these videos? What is the source of the videos?

its what the internal video decoder does with some types of video (DIVX files i think?)
you got 4 options;
dont use VDJs internal video decoder (there are others)
dont use DIVX videos (not the best, although the most common)
put up with it
wait for them to fix it

Try using wmp decoder for some users it works better, in config go to codecs and choose it, good luck.
