Hi everybody, I explain my problem.
I use U46DJ with TCV and VDJ4.1, everything works fine.
I want to improve sound quality, and I have a
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Extreme Music,
the audio sound for MP3 is excellent.
What I would like is to send the TCV signals
directly to the U46DJ inputs, getting the two
output channels from the X-Fi card, (to send directly to the mixer).
For this reason i use ASIOxALL v.2.7; VDJ recognizes the TCVs signals,
but only 1 output is sent out from one of the 3 jacks of the X-Fi.
Maybe I have to modify some configuration on VDJ register?

Here's what appears on ASIOxALL page:

U46DJ Audio Driver (Running)
U46DJ Ch 12 (Running)
OUT: 2x 22.0-192kHz, 16 bits (Not Running)
IN: 2x 22.0-192kHz, 16 bits (Running)
U46DJ Ch 34 (Running)
OUT: 2x 22.0-192kHz, 16 bits (Not Running)
IN: 2x 22.0-192kHz, 16 bits (Running)
U46DJ Ch 56 (Not Running)
OUT: 2x 22.0-192kHz, 16 bits (Not Running)
IN: 2x 22.0-192kHz, 16 bits (Not Running)

Creative X-Fi Audio Processor (Running)
IN: 2x 0-192kHz, 32 bits (Not Running)
OUT: 8x 0-192kHz, 32 bits (Running)

Asio Buffer Size=512
Use Hardware Buffer = Unchecked
Always resample 44.1 kHz <-> 48 kHz = Checked
Force WDM Driver to 16 Bit = Unchecked

Thank you for any Help.

If this will work, i'll buy the program, since now i'm using the demo version.
Thanks and bye.

Hi there..

Its possible using Asio4all yes...
You need to select the inputs and outputs at the "virtual" asio4all driver, and choose the Asio4all as soundcard in VDJ.

But why dont you use Soundblaster X-Fi for both inputs and outputs? I bet that would work better....

Thank you for the answer.
The configuration that i showed you in the first message works fine
for what concern the two inputs and one output.
The problem is that i only get one output from the Line Output 1
of the card, and i don't know how it's possible to get the 2nd output
from the other two output lines 2 and 3.

- Maybe, have i to use two X-Fi cards?

Consider that there is only one input in X-Fi card.
Thanks a lot, Fabrizio

What do you get at the 1 output at the X-FI card? Both sides (decks) in VDJ?

If so, did you select "External mixer" in VDJ soundcard output selection ?

Yes i selected "External Mixer" and at the Output 1 i get the stereo sound
of the first deck. From Output 2 or 3 doesn't come out any sound,
even if i run with a song on deck 2.
Fabrizio.
