You can use mp3 and wave straight in the sampler... just load them up in a sampler slot;)
the VDJ format, is really OGG, because that is better for seamless loop creating ..
You can also just load the mp3 or wave to one deck, make a perfect loop at the length you want, then press record in a sample slot. Choose save, and you have it saved in *.vdj format :)

Norway after the upgrade to 4.2 I cannot load any mp3 into sampler. They do not play?? Any ideas.

Works fine here, just tested again to make sure...
When you choose "load" you need to choose "show all files" to see mp3s

I had to change the MP3 codec and now it is all good. I will let you know what I changed it to later.

hey folks im trying to convert the vdj files to mp3 or wav... is there any converter???
what i'm doing is saving samplers made with vdj cause its easy-to-use but i'd like to use them for another software which only allows mp3/wav format. or is there a better way to sample tracks and save them??
