Wouldn't it be nice (great) to have a plugin that would take the vocals of a song and make it sound like it was sung through a thirtees microphone? You know, like they sometimes do in a song for a brief moment?

Well you can already do that, by combining Vocal remover (+) and TK Filters (or macourteau's 32-band EQ). Just remove the lower frequences to ~ 440 Hz, than start increasing the gain to ~ 1.5 khz, and start decreasing the gain again from ~ 3.0 khz to 4.0 khz, add some resonance and you'll have that distorted effect. If you're not familiar with frequency spectrum, just draw an aproximate curve at macourteau's plug-in, where you boost bands only from 9 to ~ 13, 14, and than lower again to 16, lower bands 1 - 9 to zero. Hope that this is the sound you are looking for.
I'm not sure that if someone will create such an effect, that will do all these with one click, unless more of users wold like to use it frequently, but there's hope ;)
