Team Canada's shutout streak at the World Juniors has been ended - By Team Usa. At 2:24 of the second period American Defencman EriK Johnson slipped a nice wrist shot passed Canadian Goaltender Carey Price.
In the End It was penalty Shot that swung the momentum back to Team Canada; In the Third Period The same goalscorer for the U.S threw his stick at Jonathon Toews. On the following Penalty Shot Toews Flicked the Puck in the top right Corner of the net.
Team Canada scored one more goal and an empty Nett goal after Team Usa pulled they're goaltender for an extra attacker.
Final Score 6-3 For Team Canada
Canada improves to 2-0
Usa Falls to 0-2
Next Up for Canada(2-0) - Team Germany (2-0)

it's a tremendous sport congrats to your team. it's not as popular here in the U.S. I'd be surprised if you disagree with this .....it's much better when you're there than on tv....it's hard to make people realize the speed of the action from tv (all those long distance overhead shots). also the athletes are way beyond the nfl,nba,mlb in my opinion......

We don't call it the fastest game in the world up here for the heck of it ;)
There's a lot of layers to pro hockey as well
The AHL - mostly made up of affiliated teams With the parent being in the NHL
The CHL - is actually three leagues combined into one - the WHL, the OHL, and the QMJHL
There's the ECHL down on the east coast of the states
And the European leagues
The only country as fanatical about hockey would be Russia
Nobody loves Hockey Like Canadians

Team Canada Has done it again and worked more magic on ice at the IIHF Junior hockey Championship
Team Canada Shut out Team Slovakia 3-0
This puts Team Canada in first place in their pool at the end of Round Robin Play.
Team Canada Imporves to 4-0
Team Slovakia falls to 1-3
In the other pool Team Russia trounced Team Finland 5-0
Team Russia Improves to 4-0
I see another Canadian/Russian Final happening
Canadians LOVE playing against the Russians, It's nice to play an oppenent that loves hockey almost as much as we do!!!
Side note.
Mens Hockey - Spengler Cup
Team Canada (made of Canadians playing on Europian teams) Won Second place in the Spengler cup in Davros Switzerland. HC Davos gets 3-2 win over Canada.
It's only a five team tourney and the players Canada has to chose from are basically the leftovers from NHL released players or players that never made it to the NHL or AHL.
But Hey - Second is Second.
