Is there any way to fine tune the tempo range, other than selecting between 8,12 and 33 percent?
It'd be nice to be able to select +/- 100%, like on some CD players, and then you get a really neat braking effect, or to be able to change it to something really fine like 6 or 4 percent for really accurate adjustments.
Also, can you add a button in a skin or a keyboard shortcut to switch between these ranges?

Config -> Options -> Pitch Range.
VDJ only goes upto +34/-34 % as far as i know.
You could try going threw the keyboard shortcuts and making these for yourself. Just assign a key and select what you want it to do(so in your case change pitch range). I think however it might only be possible threw options.
There might be a slight chance you could set it to +/-100% using shortcuts but not entirly sure.
