Hi,
I have been waiting for 2 things that some have asked for for quite some time now:
1. Mark song played only after it is actually played for X time.
2. Able to copy song from player back to waitlist.
Please make this happen as soon as posible.
Please refrain from answers dealing with work arounds, it just needs to be fixed by VDJ.

Umm perhaps elaborate. There are no settings for either of these issues. They are annoyances that have been around for ages in VDJ.

Not possible, unless there is some registry hack for that value.
But been asked for...
"drag back to ..."
If you use sidelist at the bottom of browser, songs will stay, played or not.. until you drag them out of the list manually back to the browser main area.

Sorry I have not been on lately, miss your eloquent replies.
I have been completely disgusted with the new 4.x versions.
They changed the way we used to do things, to me, a little more involved that needed.
I have learned to work with it, and sometimes around it.
But most of all because they have yet to implement 2 basic parts of this s/w that should have been done long ago. Of which most others s/w providers have in their versions.
1. Mark song played only after it has been actually played, not just simply loaded.
The way it is now, if you load a song and wait 40 seconds it marks the song "played". However it was not played, only loaded. This is completely segueing the automatically generated playlist M3U file for that days event.
I would like to see VDJ only mark the song played if it is played after a specified time set by the individual. At the very least if we can not alter the 40 seconds, just mark it played only if actually played.
2. Ability to put a song back into the waitlist after being loaded.
Whether you load the song after searching for it or directly from the waitlist if you want to change it and load something else, you lost that song that was already loaded. Your only recourse is to search for that song again and added to the waitlist or sidelist.
It would be better if VDJ had the ability to get a loaded song back into the waitlist/sidelist through what ever mechanism they so choose.
It seems that VDJ has been neglecting more of just the simple things that would make this s/w excell and tower over the rest.
There are other basic and simple things I know of, but these 2 are a must to have.
Please let us know if this is going to be possible or not

Its of course possible to add both suggestions, and can understand your frustration over them not beeing added yet. But there are so many requests and improvements made, so every so often something is forgotten or still on the "to-do list".
But agree with you, both are excellent ideas, been asked for by a few for sure... And I'll do my best to try suggest it in the beta process for next release.
It should be pretty easy to add...

I agree with you 100%. I actually have stuck with 3.4 so far. All that 4.x has done is added additional bugs that the developers are aware of and yet to fix (audio in preview halting main output for example) and not fixed anything that bothered me about the operation of 3.x. The two things you ask for I agree about as well and there are countless others that have brought those issues up in the past. Having to drag a song to the waitlist and player is only a workaround not how things should be.
