There seems to be a lot of it about just recently. Stupidity! I don't know if it's moon phase related or what, it seems to come in bunches, and just recently there's a lot of it about.
a) People asking the same question in multiple threads/sections.
b) People intercepting a thread and asking a completely irrelevant question.
c) People who don't RTFM
d) People who can't use the search facility of the forum
e) Have obviously never taken the time to read through other threads in the forum that cover their particular problem.
f) People who ask a question without giving enough information to provide a helpfull answer.
Maybe it's just me, getting grumpy in my old age, but I seriously have a problem with trying to help people who refuse to help themselves! Is it me? or is anyone else noticing a lot of this just recently?

When I started out in this forum it was the same then as now. Bunch of people that want all the answers and not willing to look for them on their own. What is worse is when someone digs up a post from 3-4yrs back about a version that doesn't exist and say they now have the same problem.
Enough of the rant, We help those we can and move on; that's what make this such a great forum and community. Speaking of community, that's what it is and you don't have to try to help everyone. There are enough people here and they will get helped and in some cases even help themselves.

hehe ;) yeah..
This is spesially true when new versions come around...
Lots of new curious users, that need help.. or ask same stuff as asked before by others :)
Guess its just in the nature of things, when there is a constant flow of new users.. :)

you guys make some good points but using universal negatives will never get you where you wanna go.
most of the recipients aren't the problem.
i'm a newbie w/ VDJ but not w/ Traktor....i hope i haven't been part of the problem, but i will tell you this.....i've had questions i couldn't find the answer in the manual, i'd look around in the forum,i'd ask more than once and get no answer.....tonight i finally asked assistance i have 2 tickets right now. i don't make it a point to run around trashing traktor or vdj. i have observed that in general this is a considerably more friendly community than at traktor. the way that i am trying to get familiar w/ vdj is i try to participate at the forum nearly everyday inspite of my heavy schedule, i explore the manual and the forum while i'm at the computer and questions are fresh in my mind.....

We're just glad to help..
And was not directed towards you I bet... ;)
When you each week see questions like : "Can I mix music with this software?" or "Where can I find skins?", it can get a bif frustrating..hehe;)
But we're just glad to help, and with new users comming daily there are bound to be some questions repeated, some questions a bit on the silly side, and some on the lazy side...
But thats true for any forum I bet ;)

i have to agree that in my short stay here i have definitely seen the audio clicks,pop,drops thingy enough to understand a certain amount of exasperation......lol
