Hey Guys.
Ok I almost have the money for TT's, but I just got one question.
I was looking at the Stanton 120's. But in the shop I go to..(www.storedj.com.au)..there is a special and they are selling the bent arm 120 for $100 less that the straight arm.
So I'm wondering does it really matter which arm you have? I have heard that the straight arm is better for scratching, but that is it.
So just wondering what would be the best choice out of a straight or bent arm?

I personally like the bent arm when in battle orientation, it's a little more out of the way, but really, I don't think it really makes a difference, as the end of the bent tone arm is oriented the exact same way the straight one is....
I think this was just a stanton thing they decided to do back with the STR8 series TT's...
either one will work fine, but like I said, the bent tonearm buys you about an inch of extra play space on the vinyl, decreasing your chances of hitting it...

Alright. Thanks dude, that was much apreciated. Yea I know what you mean, coz I was using my mates TT's, and his are changeable, but at the moment he has straight arms, and I hit them a few times while scratching. lol he wasent 2 happy.
I think I no what I'm going to get now. I can't bloody wait!
