hey guys, im having problems updating my mp3database.txt file with the updater tool. (i know others have posted problems regarding this tool and im sorry for the double post, but ive tried everything) I analyzed all my songs in VDJ, as well as the BPM's using mixmeister. I've found that mixmeister seems to do a better job with hip-hop, so i want to use the mixmeister .txt file for the BPM's. i run the updater tool, it collects all the songs in the mixmeister file, says "BPM import is finished", but when i run VDJ, none of the BPM's seems to have changed. Im using Brooke Hogan/Paul Wall - About Us as an example. When analyzed through VDJ, the BPM says 102.2. However, when scanned through mixmeister, it says 83.30, which is the correct BPM. So i run the updater, hoping it changes the BPM for that song, but it doesn't. I also have the option in VDJ set to read ID3 tags. Can someone please help me with what im doing wrong? thanks guys!
