Exactly how is an external usb sound card used to function with the headphone's listen in
feature.
When I used the ext . sound card, the sound only came out only from it to the headphones, and not out of the internal soundcard which was sent to the mixer/speakers.
How do I get the sound out to the speakers from the internal card AND fromthe usb ext. card to the headphones( so i can listen to songs in the list before I play them).

you have to choose the 2 soundcard option, also make sure that windows keeps your internal card as the primary card, sometimes it like to make the usb the primary
just take a look at the sound options in the Windows control panel and see what card it has as primary
if it's the USB then change it to the internal card
