Topic: USB 2.0 With DJ Console?

Is the DJ Console compatibale with USB 2? Because you have a slight delay when using the Console. Thanks.

Of course it is.

All USB1.1 are compatible with USB2.0
 
Is there a problem because console supports only USB 1? Is it better to buy pci USB card? It's only 15euro.

If I bought a usb 2.0 card and plugged my DJ Console into it, it'll run at usb 2 speed?

It'll only run at USB 1 Speed - I don't know if Hercules can put out a firmware update to USB 2 (I don't know if this can be done via firmware or whether it's a hardware thing)

Check the Hercules site for this - Hercules make the console and not the Virtual DJ people!

If you are getting delays follow the skipping solution tips - it's the top thread on the tech support section in this forum. IO don't get any delays or problems at all - your PC may just need setting up/optimising a bit that's all.

A good place to start is to defrag your hard drive.
 
usb 1 is good enough for playback...
if there are skippings in sound, is a computer problem

try disable "fancy extras" in windows, like grapic enhancements etc

there is a great post in "technical" forum for fine-tuning pc's

But it's not skipping in sound it's just a slight delay from when you press the buttons but's it's okay. We can live with! ;)
