Yes the videos and music are to test out the system. You must destroy these after testing .
Yes I have a hercules, the one play button ocassionall sticks, ill admit...There is a fix, but i have gotten around to fix it ... But Audio is excellent.

Part of that lawsuit is because microsoft won't remove windows media player from windows. That would really pi$$ me off if I installed an operating system and had no media player. Even games consoles as far back as the MegaCD (Genesis CD) had a media player. I tend to like windows media player hell of a lot more than the spyware riddled realplayer and the non directshow compatible quicktime.
By the way, you can get a PC equally spec'd to a MacBook Pro for the price of a MacBook, but enjoy your conversion, image is everything for some.
