is there a way to record video mixes on vdj yet??

not yet with vdj.
 
u can search the forums it's been discussed before, so u can find what software can. one of them is FRAPS
 
another one is game cam, Manquin DJ.
 
or... you can buy a stand alone DVD recorder and record it directly to DVD.
