Hello, I seriously think about buying VDJ+timecoded vinyls.....Since now I have just used Hercules DJ Console(1st version) with my 2 turntables as 3rd performance for mixing. There are My questions below:
1st) Can I use my Hercules DJ Console as an ASIO soundcard for connecting of 2 turntables? It is written, that I need an ASIO soundcard with 8 analog sockets. There are 6 sockets on the back of console and 2 in front of it(its line in)-so my question is, if I can somehow combine it to work it properly as a MAYA44 card.
2nd) Are VDJ Timecoded vinyls both sided and does each side have any function? I know that any competitors product has a specialized timecoded vinyl, 1 side is seperated to segments and the track is behaving according to position of pick-up(if I pick the needle in the middle of vinyl, the track will be in the middle. Other side is just for speed and scratch control(no matter where the pickup is-it is better for scratching because of jumping over the needle)So are VDJ Timecoded vinyls similar?
3rd) If I have my turntables connected to VDJ system and I want also play the music from my normal Vinyls, is it possible through this connection?

- No you won't be able to use the dj console to act as a maya. I advise you to buy the maya44usb or the ESI U46DJ. You can find that one on www.thomann.de for 99€
- They are both sided but each side is the same. What you said about difference in side for competitors is done in VDJ settings.
- Yes with the bypass timecode function.

thank you all....btw: I am going to work to USA this summer and I will spend some time in NY, so.....do you know any stores there with VDJ and soundcards? and do you know any other soundcards except maya and the second one you wrote? or this is the best selection...

For VDJ, buy it online it's cheaper than in stores.
For the soundcards, you can search the forum there are other soundcards, but the U46DJ is one of the best soundcards.
