I don't know how to do this. I guess none of the other 30 people that looked at this post know either. Maybe someone that knows will see this, and help you.

Thats not the way it works around here, nobody should be refused help.

Best advice is to rename the mix.

The reason that the tracks number like that is because for some reason computers read the first 9 numbers differently than the rest of the numbers.
If you did not have 001 as a number and numbered your tunes the way humans read them you would get 1, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 2, 20, 21, 22, etc. or something just as silly. Bottom line is that your mix would be out of sequence. To prove this open a folder and call it test. Inside this folder make 20 folders and number them 1 2 3 4 5 right up to 20...then refresh the folder. You will then see what I am trying to explain.

Raw-Bear said it just right. Sort order is done with characters in mind. So "A" is before "B" and "11" is before "2".
I recently noticed that Windows XP sp2, does the ordering much better. If you require the songs without the leading zero's you could change them by hand or use an "mp3 file name" or "mp3 tag editor" application. Remind that if you burn those songs to cd, that your burning software probably sets the songs on the incorrect order.
