It would be useful to have a VU or atleast a clip indicator. a compressor with proffesstional options. a quality prametric EQ and other audio utility tools. maybe a tone generator for audio settup with options for pink noise, sine, saw, inphase, outof phase, leaft and right test etc. these are just some ideas. i had the idea listening to DJ Manix from USA cause something in the path from his VDJ to my winamp was limiting the signal i think. basicly if you listen to one thing like a keyboard part or the lyrics, they all go quiet when the bass hits or something else sporadic and peaky in nature hits. when there is a quit passage it sounds good again and when the bass hits the lyrics go quiet like bat powerd CD player playing the prodigy or something lol. am i rite in my diagnosis of this problem being something like this (could be shoutcast or something not VDJ)
