Hi all, I am a newbie but i love my Virtual DJ. All the guys were a little aprehensive when i first started the idea of converting from discs to digital media but all is going very well now and it is a great tool.
I need an external usb soundcard so that cueing is easier because what we are doing now on some songs is a cd to laptop switch to cue some songs and then back to the laptop.
What works best or is there another option for a dell laptop that i don't know of.
Any opinions?

You can always consider the Hercules DJ console
A new one will come out in a couple of days...
It has a brilliant built-in dual soundcard, and a midi controller that works well with VDJ (play buttons, cue jogwheel and much more)
If you are going more "pro" - you can get a Maya44 asio soundcard, that will let you use REAL dj hardware to controll VDJ with timecode (cd or vinyl), on real turntable or cd player

you can also buy a Creative Platinum2 externalUSB soundcard and connect to youre mixer.
