Im using virtual dj and using an ipod as my mp3 source.
When i try to get vdj to scan ipod it finds all the tracks but when i use search to look up an artist it only finds a few and i know theres maybe 30 mp3s from that one artist but it only shows maybe 5. Its not the ipod as i have used musicmatch to scan it and it can find all the tracks. There are over 8000 mp3's on but that should not make any difference.
Any ideas???

use Tag&Rename to sync all your filenames with the id3 tags. your filenames are most likely not right and sometimes dont include the artist or songname. if you have a file called 'rocking music.mp3' and search for martin solveig, vdj wont find it because it only searches according to filenames. music match will find it because it searches via id3 tags also.
