Topic: New laptop but....

Hi there guys,

I bought a new laptop today for 850 quid, on credit though.

It is:

Packard Bell, with windows xp home ed
pentium 4, 2.66ghz
512mb DDR ram
40 GB hard drive
INtel extreme graphics 2
1024X768 - 15 inch screen
CDRW-DVD.

and I love it, but how do I get my existing version of vdj off my old machine and onto my new computer,

I don't know how to download it again and my new lan cable doesn't seem to slot anywhere into my old computer, (ethernet card).

i'm getting a bit fustrated because I can't get anything onto my brand spanking new toy, help.

burn it to a CD.
if you don't still have the install file, you'll have to write in to e-service.
 
ok, I've got as far as getting the install file onto my laptop

installed fine, accepted my serial nuumber and when I booted the program it said this: Protection error 32. please contact service @....etc.

I don't understand what the problem is, is their anything I can do immediately without contacting services.

Some of you guys must of had to do the same thing at some stage i'm sure.
 
No, when you have an error message you MUST contact e-service

It's the only one way
