For a certain kind of songs you can produce excellent mixes by Crossfading the middle tones. It works especially well for songs with a steady synthie lead melody-line like in many trance and future-pop songs.

It works as follows: Use a skin where you have crossfaders for Heights, Middles and Bass seperately. Put in your first song.
1.Listen into the second song and find a good loop point where you have a good bass beat and the synthie lead-melody. If possible try to fetch the whole melody in your loop (which works very often with 8 Beats).
2.Now Beatmatch both songs.
3.Move the Medium and the Bass slider to maximum of the deck currently playing.
4.Wait for the song to reach a quarter (or just any good point where you would expect a change in the sound)
5.Now Move the Bass-Crossfader to the middle so both Bases are heard.
6.Let it run for a while so the crowd gets accustomed to the new sound of the mixed beats
7.Crossfade the middles at medium speed to your second song completely.
8.Now do the same for the heights and the Bass.
9.Don't forget to unloop the song ;)

Especially for Future Pop this produces stunningly smooth mixes.

I hope you can make use of it :)
