I have collected a number of loops (wav files that can be repeated to create beats) for use in other programs such as Acid and I would love to be able to use them in Virtual DJ to emphasize a beat or provide fill. It would be nice to have a tab where you can load different loops (similar to sound fx tab) and then have buttons to enable/disable specific loops as well as a master enable/disable. The loops would automatically be beat matched to whatever track is playing. Perhaps two sliders could be included though to allow user to alter the pitch and volume of each loop. Pehaps this could be done in a plugin, but a separate tab would be best IMHO.

Or maybe in the sample tab, a simple check-box to loop the loaded sample. Good idea you have my vote.

Yes its a hell of a good idea! It would allowed to "cut" or "copy"and "past" from the same music or diferent one the section witch we would turn on a loop!

Similar to sampling, No?
 
We talk about external sample tracks, there's already a sampler in the plugins.
