This may not be a Virtual DJ issue but i thought i'd ask here anyway.
I just tried to hook the optical digital output to my cd recorder and mini-disc to record a mix and it doesnt seem to be outputting anything.
Is there some option i need to turn on to make this work?
Has anyone else had similar problems?
Also, has anyone tried plugging in a mic and getting it to work? i cant seem to get this working either. Any help would be appreciated.

I tried using the optical out while actually using VDJ (mixing), and it seems to work for a little while and then stop outputting randomly. As I've only tried it on my receiver (I have nothing else that accepts digital input), I cannot yet blame it on the console (it could be my Onkyo, or my optical cable I guess).

I have connected it to my maudio Delta Dio 2496 and from there to my soundcard since it is built in to my motherboard.works fine .I have had maybe once had a problem with disconnecting the usb cable when it is on and then reconnecting it.But restarting windows seems to fix it .
