I am FINALLY getting a new PC -

Duron 800
256 MB RAM
On-Board Audio
Creative PCI 16 S/C

I would like to know what operating system is the best for atomix:

2000 ... or ...... ME

I have been told that 2000 makes better use of its resources.
and does not crash compared to ME

The number one thing i care about is how well Atomix will run (Cuz that's the only f*cking program i use : ] )

And what about XP?!!

I never used ME, because I read a lot about instability of this OS. On my system I ran AtomxiMP3 on Win2000 almost a year without any crash, and now on XP, also without any crash. I had a 7 hours gig with my XP machine two weeks ago, and no problems appeared.
 
mama is right. No Problems with WinXP.
 
I'm running it on 2 machines. My desktop which used to have windows 2000, and now has XP. Atomix has worked fine with both. I also have a laptop which has ME, and Atomix works fine on that one too.
 
I run it on SE op system and no problems.
 
I couldn't get my soundcard to work with ME, thought it was a bit slower compared to 98, even though this stuttered somehtimes. However, XP was brilliant!
 
Well I have xp and there is no problems. Although I think version 1.12 ran better on SE. Maybe It was just me.
 
Get XP, It’s the most reliable system BY FAR!
 
XP all the way.. it even has DirectX 8.1 already installed, and has better sound support / more included drivers.

It's also rock solid.
