I am currently using a Celeron 700 to record mixes in software mode. It is hard to cue the music since it there is a delay when i play it.
Is is just that my processor is slow...or atomix is like that on all systems?
Thanks alot!!!

I run 2.0 on a PIII@500 with no delay. What are your other specs?

My full specs are:
Inter Celeron 700
320 MB Ram
On-board Audio
I also use:
Pentium II 233
224 MB Ram
Creative Ensoniq 64
ESS On-board Audio
Both systems perform the same.
Thanks.

On board audio normally uses some CPU time to decode audio. I reccomend you invest $30 or so and get an SB PCI 128 or other primarily-hardware sound card. It will sound better, too :D

Thanks talon......
But if it is a software mix...why should i be concerned about my hardware.....when i mix in hardware mode...it performs flawlessly....and i only use my o/b card as a monitor.
Can you reccomend any other good sound cards?
Thanks...!
